Welcome to ExpireBase. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ExpireBase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

ExpireBase is an expiration tracking service that helps you monitor and manage expiration dates for subscriptions, contracts, domains, certifications, and other items. We provide email alerts to remind you before items expire. The service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about uptime or availability.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with ExpireBase, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ExpireBase to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Create multiple accounts for abusive purposes
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

5. Free and Pro Plans

ExpireBase offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited to 5 tracked items with basic email alerts.
• Pro Plan: Unlimited items, priority support, and additional features for a monthly or annual fee.

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a Pro plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. If payment fails, we may suspend access to Pro features until the payment issue is resolved.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you add to ExpireBase. We store your data securely and use it only to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time through the settings page or by contacting us.

8. Intellectual Property

The ExpireBase service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user data), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the service without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ExpireBase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from missed alerts, incorrect data, or service interruptions. You are ultimately responsible for tracking your own expiration dates.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpireBase and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though provisions that should survive (such as limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of ExpireBase after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ExpireBase operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
